rain and sun
yesterday afternoon

this morning,
coffee and poems
from the comfort
of our bed.

i like to think
i get a lot done
while you sleep

but poems are empty
and coffee's just fuel

when you wake
eggs will be ready.

esta mañana,
café y poemas
desde la comodidad
de nuestra cama.

me gusta pensar
que hago mucho
mientras duermes

pero los poemas están vacíos
y el café nomás es combustible

cuando despiertes
